Monthly Word Challenge kapsamında ilk okuduğum kitap Ocak ayı için seçtiğim Beyaz Gemi'ydi. Yalın anlatımı, olayları bir çocuğun gözlerinden göstermedeki başarısı ile kitap beni gerçekten çok etkiledi. Kızmının okul ödevi kapsamında okduğu için olsa gerek çok sevmediği bu kitabı okumaya başlamadan önce biraz endişeliydim doğrusu. Ancak her sayfa beni karakterlere biraz daha bağladı; kendimi o korkunç soğuk coğrafyanın içinde titrerken buldum. İyi ki okumuşum.

White Ship was the book I have chosen for January of my Monthly Word Challenge. My daughter had read this book for a school project and hated it. So I was a little bit concerned before I started. But with each page I was connected with the characters and I event felt the the terrible coldness of the country. I am glad I have read it and I recommend the book for everyone.
